Serious Game and contemporary didactic strategies: a systematic review and meta analysis

This systematic review focused on unmasking the effect and/or importance of serious games and contemporary didactic strategies in healthcare. A comprehensive query of databases were queried using the keywords. This was followed by a systematic review of the included sources. Serious games and contemporary didactic strategies have a positive impact in the healthcare sector. Patients enjoyed the benefits of the adherence and simplification of medical activities required of them, like physical activity. Collectively, skills, knowledge, hands-on experience and competence, along with the behaviors, elevate the quality of healthcare delivery: both the patients and healthcare workers benefit significantly. While the latter build skills, knowledge, and hands-on or practical experience, the former enjoys simplified and hassle-free interventions. Future healthcare interventions will undoubtedly be better if integrated with SG.
