The presence of religious discourse in public debate is increasing, despite of past when religion as a cultural form seemed to be definitively in decline. At most it survived only as a moral expression of marginal subjects and groups in society. The unchallenged hegemony of liberal civilization and the market economy, generating, on the one hand, loneliness, frustrations and existential discomfort, and on the other, fundamentalist reactions especially from radical fringes of the Islamic world, has open the door to the possibility of a return of the discourse of Faith into the public sphere. This return, however, should not be understood as the implementation of religious content within the legal system, but rather as the ability of the discourse of Faith to intercept the true needs of contemporary society.
