Abstract
Starting from the results of a survey on affectivity, interpersonal relationships and the sexuality of gay men in Naples, carried out using the dating app Grindr, the paper presents some possible strategies for dealing with the main theoretical and methodological challenges that social research must tackle when studying not easily reachable targets or hidden populations. The e-research techniques used in the survey for both sampling and information gathering are taken as a model to show the advantages and limitations of the mixed methods approach.File in questo prodotto:
