The paper analyses educational poverty among children, focusing on the importance of reading as tool to prevent and contrast this phenomenon. It is also described “Spazio Gioco Unifg", a University of Foggia service based on the promotion of reading that supports families and the territory in contrasting educational poverty.
Il contributo analizza la povertà educativa minorile, soffermandosi sull’importanza della lettura e della narrazione come strumenti per prevenire e contrastare il fenomeno. Si presenta, inoltre, lo "Spazio Gioco Unifg", un servizio dell’Università di Foggia che, basandosi sulla promozione della lettura, supporta le famiglie e il territorio nel contrasto alla povertà educativa.
