The aim of the present research has been the evaluation of possible modifications of organic matter, humified and not, along an ombrotrophic peat bog profile and the study of the influence of humification processes on the mobility of several trace elements (As, Br, Ca, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Rb, Se, Sr, Ti, Zn and Zr) and radionuclides (137Cs and 241Am). Particularly detailed has been the study of bromine in raw peat (and its fractions) and corresponding humic acids (HA).

Abstract
The aim of the present research has been the evaluation of possible modifications of organic matter, humified and not, along an ombrotrophic peat bog profile and the study of the influence of humification processes on the mobility of several trace elements (As, Br, Ca, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Rb, Se, Sr, Ti, Zn and Zr) and radionuclides (137Cs and 241Am). Particularly detailed has been the study of bromine in raw peat (and its fractions) and corresponding humic acids (HA).File in questo prodotto:
