The paremiological element in Festa al trullo by Chicca Maralfa

This article contains a study of the paremias cited in a literary work, specifically Festa al Trullo [The party at the trullo] (Les Flâneurs 2018), by Chicca Maralfa. The paremias principally belong to the dialect of Fasano (a city in the province of Brindisi, in the Italian region of Apulia) and are accompanied by their correspondence or literal translation in Italian in the footnote. The analysis of the paremias carried out by Maria Antonella Sardelli focuses on the use of the paremias, their typology, the insertion modalities and the role they play in the work. Given that the aim of Maralfa is to draw attention to the traditions of Apulia, the paremias are cited as a more carrier/bearer element of these traditions as belonging to the speaker’s spontaneous and voluntary discourse. This work shows the importance of dialectal forms within the Italian paremiology and the need for further research from a geoparemiological perspective. INGLESE Este artículo contiene un estudio de las paremias citadas en una obra literaria, concretamente Festa al Trullo (Les Flâneurs, 2018), escrita por Chicca Maralfa. Las paremias pertenecen principalmente al dialecto de Fasano (una ciudad en la provincia de Brindisi, en la región italiana de Puglia) y van acompañadas de su correspondencia o traducción literal en italiano en nota a pie de página. El análisis de las paremias realizado por Maria Antonella Sardelli se centra en el empleo de las paremias, su tipología, las modalidades de inserción y la función que desempeñan en la obra. Dado que el objetivo de Maralfa consiste en llamar la atención sobre las tradiciones de Puglia, las paremias aparecen citadas como un elemento más portador de dichas tradiciones, como pertenecientes al discurso espontáneo y voluntario del hablante. Este trabajo muestra la importancia de las formas dialectales dentro de la paremiología italiana y la necesidad de seguir investigando desde una perspectiva geoparemiológica.SPAGNOLO
