Siguiendo la línea trazada por Paloma Chico Ortega y Temistocle Franceschi, retomamos nuestro trabajo sobre la paremiología y paremiografía en Italia (Sardelli, 2006), con el objeto de ofrecer un estado de la cuestión lo más exhaustivo posible de los estudios paremiológicos en este país. Tras la reciente acogida de esta disciplina entre los estudiosos italianos frente al arraigo que ya tiene en España desde hace varios decenios, se están multiplicando los ensayos y los diccionarios dedicados en exclusiva al estudio y a la recopilación de paremias, respectivamente. En lo que se refiere a la paremiografía, merece la pena destacar la labor de Temistocle Franceschi, director del Centro Interuniversitario di Geoparemiologia (CIG) y del Atlante Paremiologico Italiano (API). Dentro de las investigaciones paremiológicas, son numerosos los estudios contrastivos en varias combinaciones lingüísticas. Asimismo, a modo de comparación, esbozaremos un breve análisis del panorama de los estudios paremiológicos en España y sus relaciones con la paremiología italiana. SPAGNOLO Following the lines traced by Paloma Chico Ortega y Temistocle Franceschi, let’s now focus on our essay on Paremiology and Paremiography in Italy (Sardelli, 2006) in order to provide the readers with the best possible inquiry into paremiological studies in this country. Italian scholars have welcomed this brand –new subject recently– although it has already taken strong roots in Spain for several decades, and the number of essays and dictionaries regarding either Paremiology only or simple collections of proverbs, respectively, has increased lately. As regards Paremiography, it is worth keeping a keen eye on the work of Temistocle Franceschi, who is the director of both the InterUniversity Centre of Geoparemiology (ICG) and the Italian Paremiological Atlas (IPA). With regard to paremiological investigations, we have plenty of contrastive studies in different linguistic combinations. Meanwhile, we are going to draft a brief analysis in order to give a thorough overview of the current studies of Paremiology in Spain and their connections with Italian paremiography.INGLESE
