Silvia Mei describes how Shakespeare's work stands the test of time and resurfaces in the Zero years like a spectre, under different forms: Shakespeare is evoked, readapted, translated, transported in different and contemporary realities, re-written, quoted in fragments. These are the fragments of an acquired textuality that becomes a common base of experience, and can therefore be broken up and recomposed in a wide range of different relationship with the stage.
