Protected Natural Areas registered under Emas (PNAs-Emas) could have the po-tential to improve the environmental sustainability of policies, also in order to benefit of attractiveness of “sustainable tourism”. That is possible if PNAs-Emas has also an effective interested parties (IP) involvement. In Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 (Emas III) the requirement to “publish” the Environmental Statement (ES) increases organization’s transparency contributing to the increase of its credibility and its Environmental Management System (EMS). This generally improve the stakeholder involvement. In 2017 entered into force the Commission Regulation (EC) no 2017/1505 (“new” Emas III) to adjust their EMS to new re-quirements related to the implementation of the changes introduced by the trans-position of new standard ISO 14001:2015, gave more attention at role of IP. Over-all objective is to detect state of the art and modality of implementation of “new” Emas III in relation to the definition of an appropriate involvement’s process ac-cording to new standard relative to “Identification of the interested parties and determination of their relevant needs and expectations” (4.2) in ES published by PNAs-Emas, in order to locate a “Preliminary Best Practice” (PBP). The study provides a methodological approach for comparing experiences underway in ES to locate PBP.

Abstract
The study provides a methodological approach for comparing experiences underway in ES to locate PBP.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
