Abstract

In this article the development of model interdisciplinary teaching modules (ITeM) in sustainable management of agri-food systems is proposed, on the basis of our experience as academic teachers and researchers involved in agri-food sector disciplines. Each teaching module consists in a series of lectures either for 1st level (bachelor) or 2nd level (master) students. A model of the course is presented below and is suggested for the programmes of Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Science, Food Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food and environmental Biotechnology.
