The article is a critical assessment of the possible effects of TTIP on European economy. The paper shows that the gains from TTIP would be limited, asymmetric and could be associated with an alarming economic disintegration among EU countries, with possible detrimental consequences in terms of euro sustainability. Limited economic gains from TTIP could be more than counterbalanced by relevant losses associated with adjustment and social costs.
