Abstract
Six normal male volunteers, aged 21 to 35 years, underwent six night in two separate session. After two "adjustment" nights a study night was performed. Cyproheptadine was administered for five days, and a subsequent sixth night of study was performed. Results showed an inhibitory effect of cyproheptadine on the sleep-related hGH secretion in normal adults. These results suggest that serotoninergic mechanisms may play a stimulatory role in the sleep-enhanced hGH secretionFile in questo prodotto:
