The objective of this meta-analysis is to identify those adverse effects that are significantly associated with pregabalin and to assess possible correlations between adverse effects significantly associated with pregabalin and drug dose. For this reason, all randomised double-blind versus palceb controlled trials, investigating the cronic effects of pregabalin in various neuropsichiatric conditions. were selected. Thirthy-eight studies were included in this review. Trough a process of selection, we identified 37 possible treatment-emergent adverse effects from adverse event tables of included studies. Meta-analysis of these data showed that 20 are significantly associated with the experimental drug (RR between xx and yy, lower CI, higher CI 99%). Risk difference (95%) and NNH were calculated for all these adverse effects significantly associated with pregabalin at each dose level. We report NNH values for all identified significantly associated adverse effcects. First value is that found at the lowest dose, the second is that found at the highest.

Abstract
First value is that found at the lowest dose, the second is that found at the highest.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
