In this issue, we feature a selection of papers from the First Joint SIDEASIEA Conference, held in Bisceglie and Trani on September 13-16, 2017, and titled “Cooperative strategies and value creation in sustainable food supply chains”. Seven papers were selected for this Special Issue and further reviewed and revised to be published in Economia agro-alimentare/Food Economy. The papers focused on several aspects of national and international agricultural and food systems.
