Four irrigation volumes, restoring 0 - 25 - 50 - 75% of ETc (0 - 1,500 - 3,000 - 4,500 m3/ha), were applied by drip irrigation. Stomatal conductance and transiration rates per leaf area unit were influenced by irrigation "per se", while CO2 assimilation rate and quantum yield and leaf water use efficiency were influenced by the irrigation level. The rstoring of 50% ETc seemed to match the best results in terms of net CO2 uptake per leaf area unit and per whole leaf, as well as in terms of quantum yield and of leaf water use efficiency.

Abstract
Four irrigation volumes, restoring 0 - 25 - 50 - 75% of ETc (0 - 1,500 - 3,000 - 4,500 m3/ha), were applied by drip irrigation. Stomatal conductance and transiration rates per leaf area unit were influenced by irrigation "per se", while CO2 assimilation rate and quantum yield and leaf water use efficiency were influenced by the irrigation level. The rstoring of 50% ETc seemed to match the best results in terms of net CO2 uptake per leaf area unit and per whole leaf, as well as in terms of quantum yield and of leaf water use efficiency.File in questo prodotto:
