El paradigma ejecutivo fuerte/democracia débil/populismo: una mirada entre Europa y América Latina

In the last decades, in the world context show a critical situation for contemporary democracies, increasingly subject to relevant transformations, whose results seem to culminate in the implementation of new paradigms, synthesized in the contrast of hard populism / soft populism. Therefore, the arguments underlying this chapter will seek to investigate according to a political-institutional key the causes of the crisis of democratic legitimacy, which, in turn, underlie the realization of different models in consideration of the European and Latin American context.
