As channellers of financial resources, they can contribute greatly to accelerating the transition to the circular economy by providing financial support, especially to those companies that fit into these innovative production models. Moreover, this approach would benefit the financial institutions themselves not only in terms of reputation enhancement, but also in terms of risk reduction.
