After a first study on the Italian list of titles contained in the Colección paremiológica (Paremia, 15: 29‐40), we will approach the analysis of one of the “literary proverb collections” which appears in this collection fund and which can be considered a an really important source of Italian proverbs: Anton Francesco Doni’s La Zucca. The aim is the elaboration of an Italian/Spanish paremiological corpus through the comparison between the original version of the work and its Spanish translation, both belonging to the same list of titles.
