Sport, physical education and physical activities are cultural, scientific and methodological fields present in the Degree Courses in Motor Activities and Sports Sciences (triennial) and in Master's Degree Courses (biennial) in Italy. After a long evolution process, the Italian Higher Institutes of Physical Education have been transformed into Degree Courses. Nowadays the curriculum provides for a multi-inter-disciplinary structure in which there are the scientific-didactic fields related to Methods and Didactics of Motor Activities (M-EDF/01) and Methods and Didactics of Sports Activities (M-EDF/02). At the University of Foggia, the triennial curriculum includes 7 teachings and 588 hours for the areas of motor and sports activities, in addition to the optional subjects of student’s choice. Each teaching, through the syllabus, is declined in objectives divides in expected competences and knowledges, contents, didactics methods, expected learning outcomes, evaluation and degree duration, in order to share with students and stakeholders the educational process and the outgoing professional profile. Each teaching related to motor and sports activities provides a portion of hours dedicated to the practice carried out in the gym and other equipped facilities.
