The only two Corippus’ works handed down to us are Iohannis seu de bellis Libycis and In laudem Iustini Augusti minoris. They are very important for the evolution of epic and eulogistic literature in the late Antiquity and for the history of Roman Africa in the 6th century. In the last decades, significant studies have appeared and considerable lectures have been given on Corippus. The paper takes stock of them.
