Generally,thesetumorsoriginateinthekidneys,thyroid,parathyroid,andsalivaryorpituitaryglands;theyhavealsobeenreported inothersitesincludingchoroidplexus,respiratorytract,andlarynx.Histologically,theyarecharacterizedbycellswitheosinophilic granularcytoplasmandnumerouspackedmitochondria.Wereportedacaseofa44-year-oldfemalewhopresentedwithCushing syndrome for hypersecretion of cortisol due to adrenocortical oncocytoma. Magnetic resonance of abdomen revealed a right adrenalmass.Laparoscopicadrenalectomywasperformedandthetumorwaspathologicallyconfirmedasbenignadrenocortical oncocytoma.Aftersurgicaltreatment,Cushing’ssyndrome resolved.
